Football:
The following is a press release from GHS principal, Jamie Norell:
Today, Coach Brandon Rohrer announced his resignation as head football coach of Glendora High School to his team, coaches, and school administration.
Coach Rohrer has led the Tartans to the CIF playoffs in six of his seven seasons here at GHS.
During his time at GHS, he had an impressive Tartan coaching record of 56-23, increasing his career win total to 99 victories.
Coach Rohrer led the 2021 Tartans to a 10-0 regular season, and, most recently, the 2024 Tartans to the CIF finals.
Many of his former players are currently competing at all levels of college football.
Most importantly, Coach Rohrer embraced the “Be the Best” mantra, teaching his student-athletes lessons that will far outreach their time playing football.
The Tartans will miss Coach Rohrer’s contributions on the football field, but we support him as he continues in his role at GHS as a Math teacher and leader of curriculum and accreditation teams.
Coach Rohrer is looking forward to pursuing his administrative credential and coaching his own children.
We thank Coach Rohrer for taking the Tartan Football program to new heights.
The Glendora Unified School District and Glendora High School are committed to continuing to support the success of the Glendora Football program and intend to hire an experienced football coach (with a possible teaching position available) that will lead the Tartans into 2025 and beyond.
