Bonita seems to be finding its offensive rhythm as the 2024-25 regular season winds down.
One day after Hunter Smith hit seven 3-pointers and scored 27 points in a 74-69 Palomares League victory over Claremont, Jakson Clement found his shooter’s touch.
On Friday, the Bearcats got eight 3-pointers from Jakson Clement in a 63-58 victory over Workman.
Clement finished with 26 points.
The game was so even that the Bearcats and Lobos matched each other’s scoring in the first, second and fourth quarters.
BHS had a 20-15 edge in the third period.
Hunter Smith four more 3-pointers on Friday and he chipped in with 13 points.
Beau Rudometkin contributed 12 points, and James Kim finished with 12 in the win.
Aron Hernandez led Workman with 26 points.
Alex Munoz provided 21 points in the loss.
Up next: The Bearcats are hosting Chino in a couple of hours (Saturday at 1) before finishing out the remainder of their Palomares League schedule.
