Girls Basketball:
With just three games to play, Claremont took over sole possession of first place in the Palomares League.
The Wolfpack claimed a 47-34 victory at Bonita.
CHS took a 32-26 lead into the fourth quarter, and they closed out the win on a 15-8 run.
Khrysma Johnson hit three 3’s and scored a game-high 19 points.
Johnson also had six rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.
Suraya Haqq chipped in with 10 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals.
Iyla Ragguette added 10 points and four rebounds for the Wolfpack.
Lexi Mercado led BHS with 11 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Jenna Campbell and Brooke Van Duyne contributed nine points apiece for the Bearcats.
All nine of Campbell’s points came from beyond the 3-point line, and Van Duyne had one 3.
