Boys Basketball:
The longest winning streak in at least 21 years was extended to 14 games on Monday for the Glendora High School boys’ basketball program.
Once again, the Tartans overcame a second-half deficit to claim victory.
GHS defeated Skyridge (Lehi, Utah), 70-62, to claim the Bronze Division at the Damien Classic.
The Tartans now have San Dimas, Glendora and Damien Classic tournament titles added to their impressive resume in 2024-25.
Colton Gray got in foul trouble, but he was able to score 16 points, grab seven rebounds, dish out four assists and tally three steals.
Gray was named the Bronze Division’s MVP.
Sebastian Demano chipped in with 14 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Max Hilgenfeldt contributed 13 points, four rebounds and three steals.
Tanner Grable added 10 points and five rebounds.
And CJ Murray finished with 10 points and four rebounds.
Joel Gardner led Skyridge with 19 points.
Hunter Sheffield had 15 points and Carson Mosletter chipped in with 12 points in Monday’s loss.
Up next: The Tartans will host Diamond Bar on Tuesday at 6:30, as Palomares League play resumes.

Editor’s Note: MaxPreps only dates back to 2004, so I can’t get an exact year as to when the last time Glendora has won 14 consecutive games or more.
