Ayala won its third consecutive game on Thursday.
And the Bulldogs have won eight of their last nine.
AHS secured a 71-54 victory over Marquez, and they improved to 8-2.
Joshua Townsell scored a game-high 19 points.
Zach Cannelopoulos added 18 points for the Bulldogs.
Josiah Yang chipped in with 13 points, Jeremy Serrano had 10 and Kyle Chang contributed six points in the win.
Cravon Charles led Marquez with 16 points.
Julian Nunez finished with 11 points in the loss.
Up next: The Bulldogs host Calvary Baptist on Saturday at 3.
