Girls Basketball:
Flintridge Prep played the role of a rude host on Tuesday evening.
The Wolves dropped an 81-25 beatdown on visiting Mayfield in the Prep League opener.
Prep all but put the game away early, as they took a 41-14 lead into the break.
Maddie Smith provided 21 points, two rebounds, five steals and a pair of assists.
Olivia Childs added 14 points and six rebounds.
Megan Quoch chipped on with 10 points, five boards, three steals and two assists.
Xitlale Lizarde had a team-high nine points for Mayfield, and Jenna Domingo scored six points in the loss.
Up next: The Wolves travel to Chadwick on Friday at 5.
