Glendora made history for their coach, Adam Nunemaker.
The Tartans edged Highland, 61-58, at the Burroughs Showcase to earn ‘Coach Nuner’ his 200th career win in just 269 games.
Three of the four quarters were determined by one point.
And the Bulldogs had a 12-10 edge in 3-pointers made.
Brianna Gomez scored 21 points, including four 3-pointers.
Fifteen of Mia Reyes’ 17 points came from beyond the 3-point arc.
Reagan (“Ronnie”) Herrmann added 14 points to the Tartans winning total.
Alaina James hit four 3’s and she scored a game-high 22 points for Highland.
Laylah Jones scored all 18 of her points from 3-point land.
Abby Gomez contributed 12 points for the Bulldogs.
