Boys Athlete of the Week:
Colton Gray had one of the best weeks in his three-plus year career at Glendora.
The Tartans senior reached surpassed the 1,000-point mark on Monday.
GHS had victories over Diamond Ranch, Chino Hills, San Marino and Capistrano Valley Christian by a combined margin of 291-186 to win the Gary Prestesater Tournament.
Gray earned the tournament’s MVP.
He scored 101 points, grabbed 42 rebounds, had 11 steals and dished out 12 assists.
His biggest outing was Saturday’s 77-39 victory over CVC in the tournament final.
Gray scored 32 points and had 13 rebounds.
