Boys Basketball:
San Dimas got out to a quick lead, and they went on to defeat Diamond Bar, 75-58, at their own Gary Prestesater Classic.
The Saints outscored the Brahmas in each of the four quarters, including 19-9 advantage in the first.
SDHS had an 8-2 edge in 3-pointers made.
Luke Chavez scored a game-high 20 points.
Nathan Yearout hit five 3-pointers, and he finished with 17 points.
Jeremiah Garzon and Angelo Fares contributed 15 points apiece.
Fares had three 3’s in the win.
Tyler West led Diamond Bar with 15 points.
Ayden Ellis scored 11 points and Max Gao had 10 in Wednesday’s loss.
Up next: The Saints battle Capistrano Valley on Friday night at 8.
