The Tartans edged Chino Hills, 79-77, in Wednesday night’s quarterfinal round contest.
The Huskies entered the game with an 8-1 record and ranked 18th in the state by MaxPreps.
One game after joining the 1,000-point club, Colton Gray had a game-high 26 points to go with seven rebounds, six steals and two assists.
Tanner Grable added eight points, 11 rebounds and three assists.
Max Hilgenfeldt chipped in with eight points and three assists.

CJ Murray and Vincent Montalbo contributed seven points apiece in the win.
With 17.4 seconds remaining and GHS up by one, Montalbo was fouled in the backcourt.
The Tartans senior hit both free-throw shots and Glendora would win by two.
Joaquin Tovera led CHHS with 23 points.
Cali Frazier and Jaden Gamez finished with 11 points apiece.
