Damien blew out its second consecutive opponent to open the 2024-25 season.
On Monday, the Spartans cruised to an 80-41 victory over Troy at the Sunny Hills Tournament.
One night later, DHS raced past Ontario Christian, 68-39, after taking a 32-15 lead into the break.
Nate Garcia had a game-high 23 points for the Spartans.
Eli Garner finished with 10 points and Elijah Smith had nine.
Zaire Rasshan made half of Damien’s four 3-pointers, and he contributed eight points in the win.
Mason Salazar led OCHS with 20 points.
Salazar had two of the Knights’ 3-pointers on Tuesday night.
Cash Marshall added eight points and Corey Allen had six in the loss.
Up next: The Spartans face Villa Park tonight (Wednesday) at 8 at Troy High School.
