Girls Volleyball:
Northview kept pace with Charter Oak atop the Valle Vista League standings thanks to Thursday’s sweep of Rowland.
The Vikings won by scores of 25-15, 27-25 and 25-19.
Ava Frymark led the way with 11 kills, 11 assists, seven digs and one ace.
Jennylyn Gozun (7) and Megan Arellano (6) combined for 13 kills.
Olivia Leanos had 10 digs and a pair of aces.
Marilyn Sandoval added four blocks for the Vikings.
Joana Flores finished with three kills and three blocks.
Beverly Franco contributed 12 digs, a kill and one ace.
Up next: The Vikings battle Monrovia on Saturday morning at 11 in the Walnut Invitational.
