Baseball Census Collegiate Summer League:
The Arroyo Seco Sentinels scored twice in the bottom of the ninth inning to edge the OC Juice, 7-6, in Saturday’s contest at Brookside Park.
Kevin Jimenez was charged with five runs on six hits over four innings.
Jimenez issued two walks and fanned one.
Noah Wong got the loss after surrendering two runs on four hits over 4 2/3 innings.
Wong walked five and struck out five Arroyo Seco batters.
Grant Werdesheim’s RBI base hit tied the game at 6-6.
And two batters later, Evan Nahra’s pinch-hit sac fly scored Bryan Richman with the game-winning run.
Richman walked, doubled, scored twice and drove in a run on a sac fly.
Cam Andrews and Cider Canon both walked, singled and drove in one run apiece.
AJ Beltre went 2-for-4 and scored.
Josh Phillips drew a walk, singled, scored and had one RBI.
Omar Cisneros walked, singled and scored.
Nate Longoria singled and scored.
Beltre gave up an unearned run in the eighth off a hit batter, two stolen bases and a throwing error.
But he would get the win, as the Sentinels scored twice in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Beltre didn’t allow a hit or walk and struck out two.
Jaden St Cyr doubled and scored.
Jordan Sheridan singled, doubled and drove in a run.
Kyle Lewis walked, singled, scored and had one RBI.
Makamae DuPont singled and scored.
Sebastian Garcia drove in a run on a sac fly.
Marcus Ziegler had an RBI single.
Chase Bernal was hit by pitch, stole two bases and scored a pair of runs.
Up next: The Sentinels host the SGV Monarchs on Sunday at 2 at Brookside Park.
The Juice will host the Monarchs on Wednesday at 4:30 at Biola.
