Damien’s Nikko Paoletto earned the Baseline League’s Most Valuable Player award after a terrific senior season.

The Spartans’ slugger led the program to an outright Baseline League championship.

Paoletto finished his prep career batting .411 in 2024.

Of the 29 baseball programs this site covers, only four players had more than Paloletto’s 28.

And his five home runs tied Paoletto for most with Los Osos’ Hunter Meyer and San Dimas’ Vaughn Coleman.

Damien finished 1.5 games ahead of second-place Los Osos and three up on the eventual CIF-SS Division 5 champions from Chino Hills.

It was the Spartans first league title since 2021.

2024 Baseline League Final Standings:
Damien (16-11-1, 11-3-1)
