Mt. SAC Secures 4-2 Victory at El Camino; Mounties Have Won South Coast Conference-Best Nine Consecutive Games

College Baseball:

Mt. SAC won its South Coast Conference-best ninth consecutive game on Tuesday.

The Mounties secured a 4-2 road win at El Camino.

Kaden Moeller went 3 2/3 innings, and he was charged with two runs on three hits.

Moeller issued four walks and struck out three.

Blake Hagerty was credited with the win, going 3 1/3 scoreless innings and allowing two hits.

Hagerty didn’t walk a batter and fanned three.

Matt Viveros earned the save with two perfect innings in relief, including a pair of strikeouts.

Mason Martinez hit a solo HR.

Jack Nammack singled and scored.

Eric Perez, Connor Meidroth and Lucas Bonham had one single apiece for the Warriors.

Luke Elward was saddled with the loss.

Elward went seven innings, and he allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits.

He walked five and struck out two Mt. SAC batters.

Joey Rossetti went 2-for-4, with a double, run and RBI single.

Bradyn France walked, singled twice, and had one RBI.

Andrew Ramirez walked, singled and drove in one.

Diego Ortiz singled, scored and had an RBI ground out.

Andrew Walters singled and scored.

Bryan Bradshaw walked and singled.

Moeller walked twice and scored.

Up next: The Mounties will host game two of their three-game set with El Camino on Thursday afternoon at 2.
