Upland snapped its five-game Baseline League losing streak on Wednesday.
And they did so in dramatic fashion.
The Highlanders edged the reigning two-time champs from Etiwanda, 10-9, on a walk-off single from freshman Carson Kinnick.
UHS overcame deficits of 3-0 and 8-4.
Upland scored four unearned runs off Michael Aleman on five hits over his four innings.
Aleman walked one and fanned three UHS batters.
Andrew Weber was charged with four runs on four hits and two walks over one inning.
Nico Hamilton got the loss after allowing one run on two hits and one walk over 1 1/3 innings.
Griffin Cunningham went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs.
Cunningham led off the bottom of the seventh with a single, and four batters later, it was Kinnick that set off a celebration for UHS.
The freshman went 3-for-3, with two walks, two runs and the game-winning RBI.
Carlos Arteaga walked twice, singled, doubled, scored three runs and drove in one.
Josh Angely walked, tripled, scored and had one RBI.
Noah Garcia singled, scored and drove in one.
Jake Mensen went 2-for-2, with a walk, run and two RBIs.
Joaquin Covarrubias had an RBI single.
EHS roughed up Max Biddle for eight runs (seven earned) on nine hits over four innings.
Biddle walked four and fanned a pair of Eagles’ batters.
Issac Carlos was credited with the win after going a scoreless inning.
He allowed one hit, didn’t issue a walk and struck out one.
Jaeden Toki went 3-for-4, with two runs and a pair of RBIs.
Al Moreno singled, had two doubles, scored three runs and drove in one.
Jake Furnald singled, doubled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.
Luke Mendoza walked, singled twice, scored and had one RBI.
Christian Eaton walked and had an RBI single.
Ryan Severns walked, singled and scored.
Blake Torres drew a pair of walks, scored and had one RBI.
