With three weeks to play in the 2024 regular season, Alta Loma and Glendora met up for the first of a three-game Palomares League series.
The Braves and Tartans opened their set tied for last with identical 1-5 league records.
ALHS struck first with a 9-7 victory in a game that featured 16 combined runs, six pitchers, 23 hits and five errors.
Glendora got to Nathaniel Pimentel for seven runs (six earned) on seven hits over 3 2/3 innings.
Pimentel walked one and fanned three GHS batters.
Ryder Carey and Evan Salcido provided 1 2/3 scoreless innings apiece for the Braves.
Tyler Obert went 2-for-4 with a run.
Mason Danison had an RBI single that tied the game at 6-6.
