The Spartans (5-1-1) handed the first-place Grizzlies (6-1) their first league setback.
Andrew Carter earned the win after going 5 1/3 innings and allowing one run on two hits.
Carter issued two walks and struck out five LOHS batters.
Rudy O’Dell and Troy Lopez got the final five outs to secure the win.
Jake Monsen went 2-for-3, including a double and one RBI.
Roberto Topete walked and scored.
Justin Yeutter singled for the Grizzlies.
Aidan Cube was charged with three runs on six hits over 3 2/3 innings.
