South Hills cruised to a 14-0 beatdown victory over Ganesha at Friday’s Boras Classic.
The Huskies out-hit the Giants, 11-5, in a game that lasted just 4 1/2 innings.
Carson Baker went four scoreless innings to earn the win.
Baker scattered four hits, walked one and struck out one GHS batter.
Matt Manzo got the final three outs for the Huskies.
Victor Garcia, Isaiah Ibarra, Nathan Longoria, Tommy Giandomenico and Evan Longoria had one single apiece for Ganesha.
Offensively, Steven Jimenez went 4-for-4 with a double, two runs and four RBIs.
Baker helped his own cause with an RBI double and run scored.
Noah Malone walked, singled, scored three times and drove in one.
Manzo walked twice, doubled, drove in a pair and scored two runs.
Diego Villarreal singled and had three RBIs.
Aiden Soto went 2-for-2, with a walk, run and three RBIs.
Paul Vazquez walked, singled and scored a pair of runs.
Christian Gomez drew a pair of walks and scored twice.
