Baseball:
One day after having its 12-game win streak snapped at the hands of Maranatha, the San Dimas baseball program started a new streak.
The Saints defeated Ganesha, 7-0, at the Boras Classic.
San Dimas senior Jude Favela wrote his name into the history book.
Favela threw a no-hitter on 84 pitches.
He walked three and struck out five Ganesha batters.
Fifty-one of his 84 pitches were strikes.
JJ Manuel got the loss after allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits over his four innings of work.
Manuel didn’t issue a walk and he struck out a pair of SDHS batters.
Rocco Regan walked, scored two runs, and he hit a grand slam in the sixth to extend the San Dimas lead to 7-0.
Kody King went 2-for-4 and scored a pair of runs.
Jayden Medina had an RBI single in the fourth.
Landon White walked and scored.
Ryan Castro singled and scored.
Favela walked and singled.
Up next: SDHS will meet up with Crespi at noon at the Boras Classic.
