Thirteen days ago, Marshall Fundamental’s Nate Callaway had a no-hitter through six innings.

Mother Nature took over, and the Eagles had to settle for a 7-0 (six-inning) victory at Rosemead.

On Thursday, Callaway wasn’t going to allow anyone or anything to get in his way.

The Eagles junior tossed an official no-hitter in a 6-0 victory over visiting Mountain View.

Callaway walked three and struck out 14 Vikings’ batters.

He needed 101 pitches to finish what he started, and 61 were strikes.

The win improved the Eagles Mission Valley League record to 4-2, which puts them in a two-way tie with Rosemead for the No. 3 spot.

Alejanjro Moreno was saddled with the loss.

Moreno went five innings, and he allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks.

Callaway helped his own cause, going 2-for-4, including a triple and run scored.

Trevor Lain walked, doubled, scored and drove in three.

Ryan Pandullo walked and had an RBI single.

Caleb Delgado walked, singled and scored.

Wes Pendleton singled, scored three runs and had one RBI.

Adan Castro walked and singled.

Derek Esparza singled for the Eagles.
