Maranatha rebounded well from Tuesday’s eight-inning loss to Glendora.

The Minutemen claimed a 10-3 victory over El Rancho, and they out-hit the Dons, 13-4, on Thursday.

Matthew Vazquez went five scoreless innings and allowed just two hits to earn the win.

Vazquez didn’t issue a walk and struck out six ERHS batters.

Alex Aparicio and Dominic Bonilla singled and drove in one run apiece.

Miguel Mejia walked, singled and scored.

Charles Sandoval and Angelo Martinez walked and scored one run each.

Reggie Regaldo got the loss after allowing five runs on five hits over his three innings.

Regaldo issued three walks and struck out one MHS batter.

AJ Beltre went 2-for-4, with a run and one RBI.

Josh Proctor walked, singled, doubled, scored twice and drove in one run.

Zach Strickland went 2-for-3, with a walk, two runs and a pair of RBIs.

Gabe Barragan doubled, scored and had one RBI.

Thomas Lieb walked, singled, scored and drove in one.

Eric Zdunek singled twice and drove in a pair of runs.

Lukus Perez walked, singled twice, scored and had one RBI.

Matthew Kurkdijian singled and scored.

Yahir Treto walked and had an RBI ground out.
