Heading into this week, the Glendora baseball program had zero momentum.

On Tuesday night, the Tartans claimed a 5-2 victory in eight innings over the No. 3 ranked team (Maranatha) in Division 2 at Brookside Park.

That next day, GHS secured a 5-3 victory over a Riverside Prep team that entered the game with an 11-4 record.

And to cap their week, Glendora cruised to an 8-1 victory on Thursday over their visitors from Patriot High School.

Dustin Thayer got the loss after allowing three runs (one earned) on seven hits over his three innings.

Thayer walked one and fanned four GHS batters.

Garrett Dykstra singled, doubled, scored and drove in a run.

Tyler Obert hit a solo HR.

Mason Danison doubled and scored two runs.

Cash Dionne singled and scored.

Matthew Martinez had a pair of singles.

Andrew Des Marets went four innings to earn the win, allowing one unearned run on six hits.

Des Marets walked one and struck out three.

Tanner Grable provided three scoreless innings of relief.

Grable allowed one hit, walked one, and fanned one Patriot batter.

Stevan Ortiz went 2-for-2.
