Glendora’s eighth-inning rally in Tuesday’s 8-6 victory at Maranatha carried over in Wednesday’s showdown with Riverside Prep.
The Tartans scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning, and they never trailed in a 5-3 nonleague victory.
GHS out-hit the Knights, 8-4, and improved to 6-9.
Drew Herd got the loss after surrendering five runs on five hits over his four innings.
