The Mustangs have an overall record of 8-6, and they’re 2-3 in Pacific League games, which places them in fourth place.
Through the first 14 games of 2024, Muir has already won more games than they did in the previous four seasons.
Fletcher Paddock is the offensive leader.
Paddock is batting .447, with 17 hits, six runs, 13 RBIs and six doubles.
Conrad Hunziker IV is hitting at a .317 clip, with 13 base hits, 10 runs, seven RBIs and five doubles.
Vincent Bugarin (.303, 10 hits, 10 runs & eight RBIs) & Owen Grice (.289, 11 hits, 12 runs, nine RBIs & two doubles) have also played well in 2024.
Miguel Castillo is the Mustangs’ ace.
Castillo is 4-1, with a 1.52 ERA.
Castillo has issued nine walks and struck out 39 over 41 1/3 innings.
Bryant Soriano is 2-0, with a 0.88 ERA.
Soriano has walked three and tallied six strikeouts in 16 innings.
Hunziker is 1-0, with a 4.85 ERA.
He’s walked 16 and struck out 22 in 13 innings pitched.
