La Salle improved to 5-3 in Del Rey League games after Friday’s 3-1 victory over Serra.
La Salle Pitching:
Morgan Sullivan had another solid outing.
Sullivan went 4 1/3 scoreless innings and allowed three hits.
Sullivan didn’t issue a walk and fanned five Serra batters.
The Cavs got one run off Adrian Hernandez on two hits over 1 2/3 innings.
Frame Flores (1/3 of an inning) and Moses Aguirre (2/3) provided some scoreless relief for the Lancers.
La Salle Offense:
Drew Ward had a three-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Peter Callihan and Chris Cardenas singled and scored one run apiece.
Travis Ochoa walked and scored.
Isaiah Romero and Hunter Vigil had one single apiece.
Up next: The Lancers travel to Orange County to battle Mater Dei on Monday night at 6.
