Rudometkin Tossed Four-Hit Shutout & Struck Out Five in Bonita’s 2-0 Victory Over ALHS; Bearcats Earn Three-Game Palomares League Sweep

Bonita picked up a three-game Palomares League sweep of Alta Loma after Friday’s 2-0 victory.

Jack Rudometkin tossed a four-hit shutout.

Rudometkin didn’t issue a walk and fanned five ALHS batters.

He needed 75 pitches to finish what he started, and 55 went for strikes.

Riley Wallace singled twice, while Silas Granados and Nathaniel Pimentel had one hit apiece to account for the Braves four hits.

Alexander Erickson went all six for ALHS, and he allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits.

Erickson walked four and fanned two BHS batters.

Colton Perez walked, singled and scored.

Austin Owens walked and scored.

Diego Vazquez walked and singled.

And Spencer Savage had one single in Friday’s win.

Bonita enjoys a two-game lead over second-place Claremont (4-0) in the Palomares League standings.

Up next: According to the BHS MaxPreps page, the Bearcats don’t play again until April 3rd (versus Vista Murrieta) at the Darryl Kyle Tournament.
