Baseball:
San Dimas won its ninth consecutive game on Wednesday.
The Saints claimed a 6-4 victory at Charter Oak in the Valle Vista League opener.
SDHS led 5-0 before COHS scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Kody King went four innings and allowed four runs on five hits.
King issued two walks and struck out five COHS batters.
Kasen Khansarinia provided two hitless and scoreless innings to earn the save.
Khansarinia didn’t walk a batter and fanned two.
Vincent Carrillo scored, and he had a two-run double to pull the Chargers to within 5-2.
Julian Salmon went 2-for-3 and scored.
Zack Escalera singled and scored.
Jorge Aceves walked and scored.
Martin Luna had an RBI single in the four-run fourth inning.
Moses Medrano singled in a run.
Zack Escalera got the loss after allowing five runs (three earned) on five hits over 4 1/3 innings.
Escalera walked five and struck out four SDHS batters.
Vaughn Coleman went 3-for-4, with one run and an RBI.
Khansarinia walked, singled, scored and drove in a run.
