Ryan Severns Gets Win on Mound & Goes 4-for-4 w/Two-Run HR in Etiwanda’s 6-3 Baseline League Victory at RCHS

Etiwanda was 21 outs from potentially being 2-9 as they headed to Rancho Cucamonga for the third of a three-game Baseline League series with the Cougars.

RCHS defeated the two-time defending league champs, 6-3, last Friday, and 6-3 on Monday.

For the third game in a row, the final score was 6-3.

But this time, the Eagles had the six.

Etiwanda scored twice in the top of the first, third and fifth innings.

Ryan Severns, who had a massive impact on the outcome got the win.

Severns went three innings, and he allowed two runs on three hits.

Nico Hamilton provided three scoreless and hitless innings in relief.

Hamilton issued one walk and fanned three Rancho Cucamonga batters.

Aiden Bravo walked, had two singles and an RBI.

Brock Foulds walked, singled twice and scored a pair of runs.

Derek Almeda singled, drove in a run on a sac fly and finished with two RBIs.

Preston Anderson was touched up for four runs on seven hits over 2 2/3 innings.

Anderson walked one and struck out a pair of EHS batters.

Severns went 4-for-4, with a two-run HR, three runs and three RBIs.

Christian Eaton also went 4-for-4 in the win.

Jaeden Toki doubled twice and scored.

Al Moreno singled twice and drove in a pair of runs.

Blake Torres had two singles and Luke Mendoza walked and singled.

Chris Montes de Oca drew a bases-loaded walk for the Eagles.

LJ Roellig walked and scored.

Up next: RCHS will travel to Los Osos on Friday, and EHS hosts Chino Hills on Monday afternoon.
