Boys Tennis:
Claremont improved to 5-0 in Palomares League matches after its 11-7 victory over Ayala.
The Wolfpack singles trio went 7-2, while the Bulldogs won five of their nine doubles matches.
Claremont’s No. 1 singles player, Caleb Settles, went 3-0, with winning scored of 6-3, 6-0 and 6-0.
Mateen Ghafarshad (No. 2) and Dale Allen (No. 3) secured two team points apiece in their singles matches.
The Wolfpack’s No. 1 doubles team of Caleb Fong and Liad Geldwert won two of CHS’ four doubles match victories.
Claremont is now 7-3 overall and 5-0 in league matches.
Up next: The Bulldogs and Wolfpack will both be in action on Thursday afternoon.
Ayala will host Glendora on Thursday at 3:30, and Claremont travels to Alta Loma.
