Damian Catano Goes Distance, Allowing Unearned Run & Striking Out 10 in Arcadia’s 4-1 Pacific League Victory at Pasadena

Arcadia got another outstanding pitching effort on Tuesday.

Damian Catano went the distance in a 4-1 Pacific League victory at Pasadena.

Catano scattered three hits and the Bulldogs run was unearned.

He didn’t issue a walk and registered 10 strikeouts.

Catano was two outs from a shutout, but Max Reynolds reached on an error, and he scored on a Ben Park single.

Kaleb Derosier and Riley Andrade accounted for the other two PHS base hits.

Adrian Oseguera was charged with three runs on four hits over his four innings.

Oseguera walked two and fanned four AHS batters.

Four Pasadena pitchers combined to walk seven.

Leo Peniche walked, singled, scored twice and his two-run triple in the top of the fourth inning gave Arcadia a 2-0 lead.

Roman Cicero and Jordan Vogel singled and scored one run apiece.

Up next: AHS will face Damien at Angel Stadium on Thursday.
