La Salle picked up victory No. 1 of the 2024 season on Friday.
The Lancers only needed five innings to defeat their visitors from Immaculate Heart, 12-2.
Izabella Ferrari went all fiv and allowed two runs on five hits to earn the win.
Ferrari issued three walks and fanned a trio of Immaculate Heart batters.
La Salle’s offense would get Ferrari a 2-0 lead in the first and put the game away with five second-inning runs.
Ferrari helped her own cause, going 2-for-4, with three runs and an RBI.
Jessica Young was 4-for-4, with three runs and she drove in four.
Olivia Ferrari singled twice, scored two runs and drove in a pair.
Alyssa Lewis went 3-for-3 and scored twice.
Ginger Martinez singled and drove in a pair of runs.
Up next: The Lancers will host Gabrielino on Tuesday at 3:30.
