College Baseball:
Former Crescenta Valley High and BYU pitcher, Jameson Ferraro, picked up his first victory at Pasadena City College.
The 6-foot-3 right-hander went seven scoreless innings and allowed seven hits.
Ferraro didn’t issue a walk and struck out six in PCC’s 13-2 victory over West Los Angeles College.
The Lancers narrowly out-hit the Wildcats, 12-11, on Tuesday.
Isaiah Fleming went 3-for-4 from the West LA leadoff spot, including a double and he scored once.
Tristan Gallegos singled twice and had an RBI.
Martin Lucero went 2-for-3 and scored.
Mario Balderas (3 2/3 innings pitched), Matthew Hurst (3 1/3) and Anthony Carrillo (1/3) combined to surrender 11 earned runs on 11 hits and 10 walks over their 7 1/3 innings.
Adrian Roman had an RBI single, RBI double and two-run single for the Lancers.
He also scored a pair of runs.
Bryan Richman drew three walks, singled twice and scored four runs.
Mark Manuel went 2-for-2, with two walks, a pair of runs and three RBIs.
Ivan Barragan walked and had an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Jack Esguerra had three hits, two runs and an RBI.
Jaden Guzman walked twice, scored and had one RBI.
Devin Munoz walked three times and scored one run.
Thomas Villanueva walked and scored.
Evan Coad with hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded.
Up next: The Lancers will host Victor Valley today (Wednesday) at 2.
