Baseball:
Los Osos opened the 2024 season in style and made history along the way.
In the first round of the Summit Tournament, Four LOHS pitchers combined on a no-hitter in a 19-0 victory over Carter.
Aidan Cube went the first four innings to earn the win.
The Grizzlies got one hitless inning of relief from Kyle Humphrey, Connor Donlin and Davis Sharp.
Cube had right of the 15 total strikeouts on Monday.
Humphrey (3), Donlin (2), and Sharp (2) combined for the other seven strikeouts.
Hunter Meyer went 4-for-4, with a two-run HR and four RBIs.
Joshua Chairez had three hits in as many at-bats.
Mason Overacker had three hits of his own, including a solo blast.
Up next: The Grizzlies face Riverside Poly (1-1) today (Tuesday) at 3.
