Girls Basketball:
One of the area’s best female basketball players competed in her final regular season game on Saturday night.
Audrey Chen, a four-year starter, led La Salle to a 60-23 victory over their visitors from Ramona Convent.
Chen had a game-high 14 points in limited time.
In her four-year reign in Pasadena, the Lancers have a record of 94-17, including a CIF-SS Division 3 championship in 2021-22.
Chen has 1,545 career points for coach, Scott Wiard.
Casey Higgins had 10 points in Saturday’s win.
Erica Fan chipped in with nine points, and Kaden Cortes finished with eight.
Aaliyah Perez-Sandi paced the Ramona Convent offense with nine points.
Angelica Bermudez had six points in the loss.
Up next: The Lancers will get their playoff opponent on Sunday at noon.
