Boys Hoops:

Pasadena officially wrapped up yet another Pacific League championship with what seems to be their annual sweep of Muir.

The Bulldogs defeated the Mustangs, 67-53, at Muir.

They finished Pacific League play at 13-1.

Desmond Every is on top of his game.

Two days ago, Every scored 30 points in the first-place showdown with Arcadia.

Fast forward to Thursday, and Every had a game-high 28 points to go with four rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Perhaps most impressive, though, was his 14-of-15 effort from the free-throw line.

Jovan Jester chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.

I’Ke Mitchell contributed seven points and three rebounds.

Josh Irving added six points, nine rebounds and seven blocked shots.

Mo Shareef led Muir with 14 points.

Robert Harvey finished with 13 points, and Bradley Jones and Ken Lawson provided 10 points apiece for the Mustangs.
