Boys Basketball:
Ayala secured third place in the Palomares League after Wednesday’s 63-34 victory at Claremont.
The Bulldogs finished strong with a 7-3 mark in league play.
Joshua Townsell led AHS with 12 points and four rebounds.
Jaydin Maddox finished with 11 points and three rebounds.
Christian Martinez contributed eight points and three boards.
Jaden Wang had nine points to lead Claremont, and Hugo Montejo chipped in with eight points.
Milo Tun provided eight points and a pair of rebounds.
AHS finished on a three-game win streak and they won four of their last five games.
Up next: Ayala will get its playoff opponent on Sunday at noon.
