Girls Basketball:

For the second consecutive year, Bonita, Claremont and Glendora will share the Palomares League championship.

The Bearcats, Wolfpack and Tartans all held serve on their home court against the other.

In Wednesday’s showdown at BHS, it was Bonita that outlasted Glendora, 56-51, to force the three-way title.

This game was so close that three of the four quarters were decided by one point or less (tied).

Naomi Acuna had a huge night in her final regular season game.

Acuna scored a game-high 22 points, including 14 in the second half.

Serenity Henderson had 12 points before fouling out, including three 3’s.

Brooke Van Duyne hit three crucial 3-pointers in clutch time, and the sophomore finished with nine points.

GHS’ all-time leading scorer, Rylie Anderson, added 13 points in her final regular season game for Adam Nunemaker.
