Girls Basketball:
Bishop Montgomery put their stamp on the 2023-24 Del Rey League championship.
The Knights finished 8-0 after Tuesday’s 65-38 victory over their visitors from La Salle.
Bishop Montgomery outscored their Del Rey League opponents, 581-395.
To the Lancers credit, the Knights closest league game was a seven-point victory at La Salle on January the 11th.
But back to Tuesday’s game.
Jordin Blackman and Sophia Dignadice had 14 points apiece in the win.
Armanyie Recci chipped in with 11 points, and Tiara Jones finished with 10.
Casey Higgins led La Salle with 11 points.
Emily Fong had seven, Erica Fan contributed six points, and Avery Ward scored five points.
Up next: The Lancers close out the regular season with a pair of home games.
La Salle will host St. Mary’s Academy on Thursday, and Ramona Convent on Saturday.
