Gray & Lee Combine for 46 Points in Glendora’s 73-59 Victory Over Colony; GHS Travels to Bonita on Wednesday w/Palomares League Title at Stake

Boys Basketball:

Glendora had to make sure they didn’t look past fourth-place Colony as they looked forward to Wednesday’s title-game showdown at Bonita.

The Titans actually led 19-12 after the first quarter at GHS.

But the Tartans would outscore Colony, 61-40, the rest of the way, and they claimed a 73-59 victory.

Colton Gray had a game-high 25 points, as well as seven steals, four rebounds and an assist.

Chris Lee had another big game.

The GHS senior hit two 3’s and finished with 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Sebastian Demano chipped in with 10 points, eight assists and two rebounds.

Lee, Demano and Elijah Regan hit two 3-pointers apiece.

Kendrick Nathan led Colony with 16 points, and Jackson Cain had 13.

Up next: The Tartans travel to Bonita on Wednesday night, and the winner will be crowned the outright Palomares League champions.
