Boys Basketball:
After its 61-34 blowout of visiting Los Osos on Friday, Damien is going to have an exciting and dramatic final week of the regular season.
The Spartans travel to second-place RCHS on Tuesday, and they close out Baseline League play on Thursday against visiting Etiwanda.
RCHS just handed Etiwanda its first league loss of the season on Wednesday, and that helped Damien join the Eagles atop the Baseline League standings.
Nate Garcia had a game-high 19 points.
Xavier Clinton hit four 3’s and finished with 14 points.
Eli Garner finished with 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Henry Ngange-Elango scored all 15 of his points from beyond the 3-point arc.
Rashad Martin chipped in with 13 points in the loss.
