Boys Basketball:

It took Glendora quite a while to get an offensive flow on Friday.

The Tartans headed into the fourth quarter with just 27 points at Alta Loma.

And they entered the final three games of the regular season needing two wins to set up Wednesday’s winner-take-all scenario at Bonita for the outright Palomares League championship.

Thankfully for GHS, they outscored ALHS, 23-11 in the fourth quarter, and they went on to a 50-43 victory over the Braves.

Chris Lee scored all of his 11 points in the second half, including a put-back late to give the Tartans a three-point lead.

Lee also had two rebounds and two assists.

Colton Gray had a game-high 15 points to go with seven rebounds and two assists.

Max Hilgenfeldt chipped in with eight points and two boards.

Sebastian Demano finished with seven points, six assists and three rebounds.

Cole Thoits led Alta Loma with 14 points.

Brandon Brown and DJ O’Brien provided 11 points apiece for the Braves.
