Gray, Regan & Holt Combine for 43 Points in Glendora’s 79-26 Victory at Claremont; Tartans Tied w/Bonita in Palomares League Penthouse

Boys Basketball:

Glendora remained tied atop the Palomares League standings with Bonita.

The Tartans thumped their hosts from Claremont, 79-26, on Wednesday evening.

It’s been a rough 2023-24 season for the Wolfpack.

In Palomares League play, the Wolfpack are 0-7, and they’ve been outscored by a combined margin of 499-262.

GHS had seven players with five points or more.

Colton Gray led the way with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists and four steals.

Elijah Regan (15), Benji Holt (12) and Chris Lee (9) combined for 36 points, and they had two 3-pointers apiece.

Ian Wang had a solid showing with 13 points.

Silas Mascarin led Claremont with nine points, and Jaden Wang had six.

GHS got five points apiece from Vince Montalbo and Logan Green.

With three games to play, GHS and BHS are tied at 6-1, and they meet up next Wednesday in the regular season finale in La Verne.
