Boys Basketball:
Damien secured victory No. 20 of the 2023-24 season on Monday.
The Spartans cruised to an 80-44 victory at Upland, and they improved to 5-1 in Baseline League games.
Damien led by 30 at the half, and the outcome was never in doubt.
Xavier Clinton made four 3-pointers, and he finished with a game-high 21 points.
Nate Garcia chipped in with 19 points.
Eli Garner (15) and Jacob Allen (14) hit two 3’s apiece, and combined for 29 points.
Jacob Sells led Upland with nine points and Brendan Underwood had seven.
