Andrea Salazar Scores Four Goals in West Covina’s 18-5 Valle Vista League Victory Over Edgewood

Girls Water Polo:

West Covina is closing out the regular season with some momentum.

After Monday’s 18-5 victory over Edgewood, the Bulldogs extended their current win streak to four games.

It also improved their Valle Vista League record to 5-1.

WCHS took a 10-3 lead into the half and the outcome was never in doubt.

Andrea Salazar scored four goals to lead the offense.

Vayda Saucedo, Victoria Tu, Madison Vasquez, and Deneli Salazar chipped in with three goals apiece.

Sam Guerra was outstanding in goal, totaling nine saves and providing a solid defensive foundation for WCHS.

Up next: The Bulldogs will host La Puente on Wednesday at 4.
