Boys Basketball:

Two days after playing arguably their worst game of the season, Bonita looked a lot more like itself.

The Bearcats went on a 39-30 run in the second half to outlast Colony, 65-54, on Friday night.

With four games to play, Bonita and Glendora are tied atop the Palomares League standings, and they meet up on Jan. 31 in the regular season finale in La Verne.

Colony didn’t have an answer for Colton Perez.

The Bearcats 6-foot-5 senior scored a game-high 30 points, including 22 in the decisive second half.

Josh Kim finished with 11 points, and five came in a 23-14 third-quarter run.

And Hunter Smith had 10 in Friday’s win, including a pair of second-quarter 3-pointers.

Desmond Flanagan and Jackson Cain scored 19 points apiece for the Titans.
