Girls Basketball:
Bonita put Friday’s Palomares League showdown with Colony away early.
The Bearcats led by 18 points after the first quarter, and they cruised to a 61-22 victory over the visiting Titans.
Eight different BHS players scored, and they remained just one-game back of first-place Glendora.
Naomi Acuna led Bonita with 14 points.
Lexi Mercado had 10, and Brooke Van Duyne chipped in with nine points.
Tressa Beatty and Serenity Henderson contributed eight points apiece for the Bearcats.
Van Duyne and Henderson had two 3-pointers apiece.
Arryon Crouch led Colony with 13 points.
