Girls Basketball:
After starting the season 17-0, La Salle finds itself in fourth place of a five-team Del Rey League.
The Lancers fell to 1-3 in this tough league after falling, 47-44, at St. Mary’s Academy in Inglewood.
SMA used a 17-7 run in the fourth quarter to edge La Salle.
Ebbony Wilson had a game-high 15 points in the win, and Layia King had 11 points.
Audrey Chen led the Lancers with 14 points.
Casey Higgins scored 11 points and Julianne Tan had nine.
Up next: The Lancers host second-place St. Anthony on Thursday at 7.
The Saints defeated the Lancers, 64-44, back on January 2nd.
