Girls Basketball:
It’s hard to call it a rivalry when the other team has no chance.
In fact, the last time Flintridge Prep lost to Poly was Jan. 28 of 2014.
And fast forward 10 years, and the Wolves continue to dominate the Panthers.
Flintridge Prep decimated their host, 76-17, in Tuesday’s Prep League showdown.
The Wolves led 75-13 after three quarters of play.
Prep extended its current win streak to 17 games after starting the season 2-1.
Maddie Smith outscored Poly, 22-17, on her own.
Hailey Louie chipped in with 14 points and Akemi Fu had 10 points in the win.
Areni Ohanian led Poly with eight points, while Luciana Piro had five.
Izzie Chan scored nine points for Flintridge Prep.
Up next: The Wolves travel to Rio Hondo Prep on Friday at 4:30.
