Boys Athlete of the Week:
San Dimas opened Valle Vista League play this past week in style.
The Saints went 3-0, and they stand alone atop the VVL standings.
Two of the three wins came on the road.
On Monday, SDHS claimed a 74-59 victory over Diamond Ranch.
Two days later, they defeated West Covina, 62-43, which set up Friday’s showdown at Northview.
San Dimas knocked off the Vikings, 53-42, in a battle of first-place programs.
SDHS got contributions from throughout its roster, but no one played a larger role than Logan Hodson.
For the week, Hodson totaled 66 points, and he was the program’s leading scorer in each of the three wins.
Hodson had 24 points on Monday, 22 on Wednesday, and he closed out the week with 20 points and 13 rebounds at Northview.
